Monroe PTA Fundraiser

Looking for an EASY way to support the Monroe PTA but hate selling wrapping paper or popcorn?

Monroe is hosting a Pampered Chef Fundraiser and will receive 30% of all sales through the fundraiser! 100 sales of $100 or more will bring in over $3,000 for the PTA!

The more money the PTA is able to raise, the more funds we can contribute to teacher/student needs and activities.

Be sure to share the link with family and friends!

The party will remain open until August 31st.
Thank you for your support!

Coming Soon: Rooms

During the 2025-2026 school year CUSD200 will be offering interested staff members training on a new 1:1 teacher-parent communication tool called Rooms.  This feature is part of our CUSD200 mobile app.  Currently, only HS athletics and activities are fully implemented in its use for communication.  Please know that your student’s teacher(s) will communicate their preferred method of communication until Rooms is fully implemented districtwide.  In the meantime, please keep up to date with all CUSD200 news and future messaging features by downloading the latest version of our District app.  More information on this and upcoming features of our district mobile app can be found at this link. Thank you.

A Note From Monroe's LLC Director, Mrs. Nordyke

Dear Monroe Families,

Monroe students have received a new chromebook! If they do not have a new chromebook, please have them come see me in the LLC.

The top three things to know are:
1) The charger stays at home, and your child should charge their chromebook every night.
2) The chromebook should stay in its case at all times.
3) There is a one week grace period for students to report any existing defects. If something is wrong with the chromebook, a student must let us know in the LLC before August 29th. After that we will start assessing for damage.

Below is the letter all students received with their chromebook about important policies and how to take care of it.

-Mrs. Nordyke

Fall FastBridge Testing to Begin Next Week

CUSD 200 administers the FastBridge assessments in the fall, winter, and spring for students in kindergarten through eighth grade. These assessments measure academic performance and growth in reading and mathematics.

Monroe will be administering the fall round of FastBridge assessments for reading and math next week. Students will take the reading assessments in their ELA class on August 27 and math assessments in their math class on August 28 and 29. To ensure your child is prepared for these assessments, please make sure they get a good night's sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and bring a fully charged Chromebook to school!
