Eagle-Eyed for Spring!

Dear Monroe Families,

I hope you had a wonderful spring break!  Welcome back to the final 7 weeks of the school year.  We have a calendar packed with special events and celebrations to honor our students' hard work!  I want to encourage all Monroe Eagles to finish the year as strong as they started. Let’s keep our focus on being kind, staying responsible, and demonstrating respectful behaviors at Monroe.  Maintaining these positive behaviors ensures that our final events are safe and enjoyable for everyone. We’ve come so far this year—let's wrap it up on the highest note possible!

Below you'll find pictures of Monroe's recent visit to Jefferson Early Childhood Center.  Our students performed fairy tales for the students as the preschoolers had studied fairy tales in March.  They were excited to recognize the stories and characters portrayed in these performances!

Also pictured below are 8th graders engaging in a Strawberry DNA Extraction Lab in science class.  Enjoy!

I will send one last newsletter on May 8th with final information for the school year.  In the meantime, here is a list of important upcoming events:
