Workshop for Parents and Families in Spanish

Wheaton/Warrenville Community Unit School District 200 Bilingual Parents are invited to a free, community-wide workshop on 7 Essential Skills Your Children Need to Learn TODAY.  These are skills that are often NOT taught in school, yet they are absolutely critical if you want your children to grow up happy, confident, and successful. Discover how you can actively support and strengthen your children’s development right from home.

This session will be presented by presenter Sergio Negro, a coordinator of bilingual parent education programs. His mission is to empower parents and educational leaders to build stronger, more connected communities. The workshop will take place on Wednesday, March 11, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m at Wheaton North High School.

Rise and Shine for Excellence

On behalf of the CUSD 200 Student Excellence Foundation, we invite you to join us for the Rise and Shine for Excellence in Education Breakfast on March 11.

This inspiring morning brings together business leaders, educators, and community partners committed to student success across CUSD 200. Through moving, real-life stories, we will highlight the powerful impact of our Essential Needs Fund, which has helped ensure students and families facing unexpected hardship have access to food, clothing, and basic necessities so learning can remain the focus.

The program will also feature performances by students from the Wheaton Warrenville South High School Show Choir, directed by Chris Miller, an incredible keynote speaker, and our Excellence in Action videos showcasing the tangible difference community support makes in our schools.

This breakfast is a celebration of what’s possible when schools and the business community work together. We would be honored to have you join us for this uplifting and meaningful start to the day.
