Kane County Cougars Reading Program |
The Kane County Cougars Reading Club Challenge will soon end! A student who chooses to participate is asked to read a total of 6 hours and complete a form. Lowell Game Day is scheduled for May 9, 2026. Participating students should turn in their completed form to their classroom teacher by Friday, March 20. It's important to make sure your child's first and last name is legible on the form. Reading forms are available in the school office. Please contact Mrs. McDonald (5M) at annemarie.mcdonald@cusd200.org with any questions. NOTE: This student reading challenge is optional. Happy reading Lowell students!

Free Mobile Food Market Sponsored by the Student Excellence Foundation |
There is a free mobile food market Thursday, March 19, from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. at Johnson Elementary School located at 2S700 Continental Dr, Warrenville, in Warrenville. Families will receive groceries at no cost in pre-packaged boxes. This food distribution is drive-thru format only, and is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.
All families in CUSD 200 are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity. Thank you to the Student Excellence Foundation for Sponsoring this event. |

The DuPage County Health Department Dental Program will be coming to Lowell Elementary School on March 20th, to do free dental exams for any child who returns a completed consent form. Please see the attached information and return the completed form. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Health Office. Keep Smiling!

Citizens’ Advisory Committee: Now Accepting Applications for 2026-27 School Year |

CUSD 200 is looking for engaged community members to join the Citizens’ Advisory Committee (CAC) for the 2026-27 school year. The CAC works to provide valuable input on educational and district-related initiatives to district administration and the Board of Education.
Candidates must reside within CUSD 200 boundaries and shall not miss more than two meetings without first notifying an officer of the CAC or the superintendent’s office. Members serve one-year terms (up to five consecutive years) and meet regularly (usually monthly) throughout the school year.
