Cream of Wheaton is returning this summer from June 4-7!  The event includes carnival rides, live entertainment, craft booths, beer garden, and food vendors! The Wheaton Park District is offering the CUSD 200 PTAs the opportunity to fundraise for their schools via Carnival Wristband sales. 

NEW CARNIVAL LOCATION! City of Wheaton Parking Lot #9 - at the corner of Liberty Drive and Carlton Avenue.

Again this year, All-You-Can-Ride Carnival Wristbands will be available for purchase online through June 3. Each wristband purchased will give $3.00 back to your school's PTA. Be sure to select your school from the list of ticket options on the Eventbrite webpage!

Review the steps below to purchase your carnival wristbands:
STEP 1: Visit the Carnival Wristband website – creamofwheatoncarnival.eventbrite.com 
STEP 2: Find your school on the ticket list and add your wristbands to the cart.
STEP 3: Purchase your wristbands!
STEP 4: During Cream of Wheaton, redeem your voucher via confirmation QR code at the carnival, located in City of Wheaton Parking Lot #9 (intersection of Liberty Drive and Carlton Avenue).
STEP 5: Have fun with your family and friends at the Cream of Wheaton Carnival!

Students at Hawthorne Elementary School are always learning and growing. One of the things we pride ourselves on at Hawthorne is the work we do to ensure students understand, demonstrate, and reinforce schoolwide expectations. At Hawthorne, students learn about the Hawthorne Way during the first week of school with Mrs. Zimmer. During the year, we work to reinforce the things we learn about the Hawthorne Way.

The Happy Heart Award is a recognition ticket given to students who go above and beyond to demonstrate the Hawthorne Way during the school day. Students who earn this will receive a ticket with their name on it, the staff member who recognized them, and the reason they were recognized. The recognition portion will go home to celebrate with family.
