Dear Panther Families,
We had a great first few days of school! Our Panthers seem to be finding their way to their classes really well and many have been wonderfully kind and helpful to their teachers and one another. We are especially proud of those who have gone above and beyond to welcome our new students to our community so that all students feel like they belong. #EdisonPantherPride

STUDENT SUCCESS TIPS
Our Panthers have started the year strong, but each week, we will be sharing a Student Success Tip. We’re starting with the basics this week! Please help us coach your child to develop the habits needed to come prepared to school each day.
Every night, have them put their Chromebook in their backpack near an outlet where they can charge it overnight. Then in the morning, they just have to unplug, zip up and head out the door!
Please check your child's planner regularly and encourage them to use it to write down their assignments and important reminders. We will be doing the same at school!
Please have them fill a water bottle every night and put it in their backpack.
Every Sunday, please check with them to ensure that they have pens and pencils for the week. (These seem to just disappear!)
We are so grateful for your partnership!
STUDENT ARTWORK NEEDED FOR 2023 FESTIVAL OF CULTURES - DUE SEPT. 1

It is a meaningful day where we learn from one another as we celebrate the diverse backgrounds and cultures that make Wheaton welcoming and strong as a community.
